Chłopi – Tańcuj Remixed

On 29 March 2025, the Centennial Hall in Wrocław will host a unique music and dance show, ‘Peasants – Dance Remixed’, inspired by Władysław Reymont’s Nobel Prize-winning novel and its film adaptation.

This cutting-edge artistic endeavour combines tradition with innovation, offering audiences:

  • Live music: The innovative Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, conducted by Lukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski will perform compositions combining ethnic elements with modern sounds.
  • Star performances: Leading figures of the Polish music scene will appear on stage, including Kayah, Natalia Przybysz and Bela Komoszyńska.
  • Choreography: Dozens of folk and contemporary dancers, led by choreographer Daniela Komędera, will present a story inspired by ‘Peasants’ through dance.
  • Multimedia animation: The use of modern visual technologies will introduce the audience to the world of the 19th-century Polish countryside, showing it in a new light.

Following the success of the premiere show in Warsaw, where the performance enthralled an audience of nearly 5,000, the Wrocław audience has the opportunity to experience this extraordinary performance.
